Kolber was born in Pennsylvania she earned her master's degree at the University of Miami. After moving to New York City, she started her career as an CBS Sports Video Coordinator. She received a Sports Emmy while working for WTVJ-TV Miami. Other assignments included WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was hired by ESPN in 1993, and was one of the first anchors of ESPN2 which was established. She worked at ESPN2 from 1993 to 1999 before moving on to Fox Sports. In 1999, she returned to ESPN and is currently the host for "Monday Night Countdown".
